Jose is just a great host and very kind person! He made our stay incredibly warm and cozy! He is very passionate about nature and willing to share his knowledge with guests of hotel. We went with him at night to feed deers and observe nightlife of other animals. Location of hotel is perfect for staying before or after visiting Ciudad Encantada. Really quiet and relaxing place. Room was clean. Dinner was tasty at hotels restaurant.

There is a TV & air-conditioner but I didn't use either. One can catch the bus to the train station at the Cervantes bus stop; about 15 minutes from the hostel. Plaza Mayor and Cuenca Cathedral is a good 35-minute walk, mostly up the side of a mountain.
