We loved everything about this unique boutique hotel. Centrally located but offering great privacy and peace. We particularly liked the roof terrace with its amazing view over the lovely plaza where Maurice served us the most delicious and creative breakfasts every morning and we stayed for 12 nights. We llikes the authenticity of the genuine old world rooms but illuminated with warm lighting and interesting African art works. Maurice is a wonderful host and is key to making this such a special place and experience. He was most helpful in guiding us to interesting places to explore. I would highly recommend this residence to anyone who enjoys unique stays and doesn't have difficulty with stairs. Superb!

Marco is probably the best host anyone can imagine! Super sweet, helpful, organized, … I could go on for hours :) His place is just incredible! We think of it as the Hollywood/Malaga-Hills! Stunning views, quiet, peaceful, easy to get to and close to Competa. Breakfast was just amazing! Pool, room, building etc. were in perfect shape, and we could tell- there is a ton of love going in it! All in all the perfect spot to check out the area! La Posada del Cani is located in the heart of Competa. The room was clean, spacious. In the reception there was a fridge with ice -cold water for guests (which is really convenient in Andalusia during summer). The bathroom was clean and well equipped. The breakfast is served in a restaurant 200m away from the hotel, and You can get a delicious Andalusian breakfast (cafe, toasted bread with tomatoes, jam or different types of sandwiches, or eggs). The staff is really helpful.
