A pretty half-timbered hotel in the magical village of Halberstadt. Our room was large with a refrigerator. Private parking in the courtyard. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. You could purchase breakfast, but we did not try it as we were eating at the Christmas Markets. Shopping nearby. Quiet!

The hotel occupies a historical building with a very special flair. The wellness area is decent. Having a private brewery onsite is certainly a plus, the beer was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, although most of them wouldn’t speak English. On the other hand, that’s definitely far from a 4-star hotel standard, so don’t expect much from the place

Nice quiet location at the edge of town but only a short drive away from local attractions. Very clean and well equipped vacation rental. Comfortable beds. Very friendly owner - lives next door and is very helpful with suggestions for local areas to visit. I stayed with family and this home worked well for me and my elderly parents. Highly recommended.

Great location for a tourist, near the Domplatz. I had a nice clean room with great bedding and towels, plenty of good hot water in a clean bathroom, and a generous breakfast cheerfully served. Well recommended.

This hotel is a tasteful renovation in an historic building and a charming place to stay if you like a hotel with character. The breakfast was good though the hot element of the buffet was minimalist;; breakfast serving times are from 0715 at weekends and 0630 during the week. The restaurant is excellent with very competent, prompt service and the food of high quality and reasonably priced.

We had a great vacation in Nord Harz. The accomodation is in a smaller city, nice and quiet area, very close to the center and to the historical streets with Fachwerkhäuser. Free parking is possible at the hotel. The leader and the staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and rich enough. Dinner is also possible close to the place in the evenings. There are plenty of things to do in the area. We are very thankful for everything.
