A pretty half-timbered hotel in the magical village of Halberstadt. Our room was large with a refrigerator. Private parking in the courtyard. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. You could purchase breakfast, but we did not try it as we were eating at the Christmas Markets. Shopping nearby. Quiet!

Having a private brewery onsite is certainly a plus, the beer was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, although most of them wouldn’t speak English. On the other hand, that’s definitely far from a 4-star hotel standard, so don’t expect much from the place
