This 4-star, family-run hotel and vineyard offers individually furnished rooms and a restaurant serving hearty meals and homemade wines.

Lovely stay! The accommodation was quaint and incredibly comfortable. Loved lounging in the various spots in the backyard. Was close enough to Beilstein to take the ferry over very easily but far enough to escape the crowds.

The owner is very friendly and we felt really welcomed by them. Very family oriented. a small town that you could walk the whole town in 10-15 mins. Will come back again if there is a chance. The house wine is very nice

amazing host, lovely guesthouse, beautiful view of the river and mountain. the place is made with so much love and feels very comfortable. had plenty of room, good furniture and enough towels. thank you also for the welcome plate of snacks!

Old world charm in a great location. The owner, Monika, was an exceptional host who took the time to talk to you and advise about hiking routes or places to visit. Bar area open during the evening to socialise. Felt like being at the home of a relative. Breakfast was lovely.

Gästehaus Portugall is located in a quiet side street in the wine town of Ellenz-Poltersdorf, just a 5-minute walk from the River Moselle. It offers continental breakfast and free parking.

Fantastic stay on the Mosel at a fraction of the price. Cochem is 15 minutes away, very convenient. Very typical German stay as far as breakfast and beds. The host was very friendly and hospitable. The rooms were a surprisingly great size and updated. Host spoke great English. Parking available onsite. Would stay again if ever visiting the area
