This property is a little gem with a spectacular view! I went with my husband and 3 children and the kids had so much fun exploring the property, using the swings and trampoline and running around. She checked on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed, which we did. Lucky Bug is a fantastic place to stay, we had a great time there. Monika and Rob are brilliant hosts, so helpful and made us feel so welcome. Lucky Bug is in a beautiful setting with small lake and rain forest all around and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. Eating on the terrace over looking the lake is a great spot to eat and the food is really good - great breakfast every day! Would thoroughly recommend Lucky Bug.

We absolutely loved the cooler temperatures. Be prepared for a unique experience…the shower had ornate ceiling with plants growing inside and up above. Breakfast was served “family style” and the owner/chef engaged with his guests. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. Surrounded by lush forest!

The location is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are really lovely and good sized. The photos don't do this place justice! Sergio and Mileidy are fabulous hosts and couldn't do enough to help (e.g. arranging taxis etc. for me as I didn't have a car). The food was exceptional - breakfast and dinner were delicious, creative and beautifully presented and they had decent wine and beer available if you want it.
