This is a lovely family run hotel. The owners and staff are wonderful. We have stayed here twice. The first time we came with cats and everyone was very accommodating of our needs traveling with children and pets. We came back a second time on a shopping trip to San Jose. Paola, who works at the front desk, was extremely helpful and kind. She is pure sunshine! We live several hours away from San Jose, but we will always stay here when we need to visit the city. The breakfast is very good and we really enjoyed the open lounge area with filtered water, hot tea and drinks available all day long. The pool and hot tub are lovely too. This small hotel feels very cozy and inviting.

Julio, the host, was so friendly and helpful. It was our first time and first day in Costa Rica and he gave us loads of advice and was so keen to offer his help any time we would be in need. The rooms are small but comfortable. The house is super unique loft which makes experience even more rich than staying in some regular hotels :).
