Grazie mille to Roberto and the lovely stuff. In la Puesta del sol you have a hostel, a bar and a restaurant. It’s a quiet place with a wonderful view. Also you can see a lot of animals there, monkeys, aras etc.. Our room was very clean and we had enough space. The breakfast was very good and the food in the restaurant was delicious! (its only open from thursday till sunday, and its better to make a reservation, because its everytime full). Puerto Carillo Beach is 5min by walk and is less crowded than Samara Beach. We definitly wanna go there again. Grazie mille, muchas garcias y hasta la proxima! Pura vida David & Sabrina

Alicia and her family members were so friendly and helpful! They made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable. The rooms were cozy, clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the most important - The location was perfect - close to the beach Carrillo and also close to a lot of restaurants.

Best sunset on the beach! The Fenix was just purchased by the new owners and they were starting some renos but our stay was really enjoyable even with the little bit of construction going on. The rooms are a good size and have small kitchens which is great. The location is awesome and you can walk to beach restaurants and the downtown area. There is also fresh fish and a small store right behind the Fenix. The outside sitting area is fantastic....so comfortable and the sunsets are absolutely awesome. New owners mentioned they were thinking of some upgrades including A/C which would be great too. We plan on going back for sure (and bringing wine....inside joke with new owners!)

The space is clean and even though the set up is fairly basic. We felt at home and comfortable. The location is close to the beach and the town and the price unbeatable!

The minute we entered the property, we felt relaxed and at ease. Jenna and her husband worked wonders and you feel the love in every little detail. Breakfast is served in a small rancho with a view towards horses, cows and other animals. The breakfast itself is made with love and attention to detail by Jenna, who is also an excellent tour guide and knows the area very well. Pool to cool down, all necessary amenities in the rooms, what else do you need?
