perfect location in the middle of the town, nicely furnished and spacious rooms. the hotel has a restaurant with good austrian food, a bar with delicious wine from the region and they make their own ice cream and roast their own coffee. it’s a really nice place overall and especially the staff is amazing, so friendly, helpful and warm! i would definitely recommend it and will stay there again when i’m in the region.

Old-fashioned little hotel on a good place and with great staff. We had a big room with wonderful view on Melk Monastery. The bed was very comfortable and the room was cleaned up. The great thing (for us) is that they accommodate pets, so we could come with our dog. :-) The breakfast is served in a different place nearby, but it is rich and tasty.

Peaceful country stay. About 5 minutes drive from Melk. Elizabeth is a wonderful host, we asked for a vegetarian breakfast and was spoilt with fresh boiled eggs, garden grown product, local cheeses, fresh baked goods, home made jams, fruit, juice and coffee. Very helpful with local dining suggestions. Was a pleasure to relax at the end of the day in the garden or on the terrace. Room was spacious and comfortable, slept with the windows open every night. Loved the church bells that rang at 7am and 7pm.
