The overall stay exceeded our expectations. We travelled with a 10 m+ and a 5 y old and the Gastehaus was excellent for our family. The owners are very kind people, doing everything to make your stay comfortable. They provided us with a kettle for the baby, extra diaper bin, helped with info etc. Breakfast was lovely, room was big enough for a family of 4, big bathroom, comfortable beds, spotless clean! Spacious parking as well. The gasthaus is near right next to the main road so you can t move anywhere without a car so better to keep that in mind. It’s about 25 min drive to Attersee lake, about 35 to Mondsee lake. You can go on foot only to have a walk near the river nearby. All in all, a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

A restored and upgraded abbey. Large well appointed room, one of the best of the trip. Looked out on a footpath and trees, silent. Lots of storage, big bathroom, all very modern. Highest rating.

Good location, normal breakfast, kind host and stuff. Very convienent for late check in, the key is in the locker box, just need to inform the host before.

An excellent choice of breakfast. Fantastic family run guesthouse, nothing too much trouble attitude for the owner's. Very comfortable bed. Private car park. My first choice in Schwanenstadt every time!
