Offering a garden and city view, Jaya Tomodachi is situated in Kandy, 2.8 km from Kandy railway station and 3.5 km from Bogambara Stadium. We have a great stay here. Amazing view, delicious breakfast and lovely hosts. We wanted to extend our stay but they were already booked. Would highly recommend anyone to stay at Jaya Tomodachi when in Kandy

The rooms are spacious and comfy. Spacious hall with large Smart TV connected to Internet. Additional sound systems if you are in to music and singing. Spacious balcony to sit and relax. The highlight is the large roof top terrace attached to the restaurant. Friendly staff and clean premises. Overall everything is good about this place.

Sami and Ailine were exceptional hosts for our time in Kandy! The newly renovated space is extremely clean and comfortable, and the balcony view is unreal. Sami was constantly arranging the best drivers, recommending great local restaurants and attractions, and all in all going out of his way to ensure we had a great stay! The optional breakfast offers a variety of delicious authentic Sri Lankan food - we opted for it each morning of our stay. Only a short tuk tuk from the bustling centre of Kandy, the Chocolate Factory House is extremely peaceful and quiet. Sami is always around to help out with any questions and made us feel at home. Highly recommend to anyone travelling to Kandy.

This property is 5 star+ It is incredible! Nestled in the hill with spectacular mountain views from the lounge and the bedroom. The apartment is modern, clean and just a joy to be in after a long days walk. It is super peaceful and Sathis the owner is so friendly. He will do anything for you, nothing is too much for him. I think he is one of life's kind humans. Value for money it soooooo is!!!! If you are coming to Kandy stay away from the centre and stay here in the hills. It is only a stroll to the town anyway or tuk tuks are around all the time if you didn't want to walk. This would enhance your experience of being in Kandy. I had the most AMAZING stay here. Situated conveniently in the centre of Kandy, CITY VIEW KANDY - MPM APARTMENT 4A is a recently renovated apartment, which offers free WiFi, a shared lounge and free private parking for guests who... The facilities here are brand new! So everything is clean and working well. We stayed in a room that was part of a 3 bedroom unit that had its own kitchenette, plates, glasses, cups & cutlery, kettle, fridge, dining table in a central space. This would be perfect for a family or small group! Our room was clean and comfortable with a bathroom and balcony. The shower & sink has hot & cold water. Towels & sheets were new and clean. Our unit was high up and faced the morning sun and Kandy town. This unit means no mold or mildew, less mosquitoes, less barking dogs, and very quiet. You have a beautiful city view and yet are well above the smog and city noises. The restaurant is not yet open so we brought our own breakfast foods from town. The host was pleasant and easy to contact. He immediately opened the locked door to let us in each time. There are no ceiling fans or ACs. We happened to be in Kandy during an unusual heat wave so were provided pedestal fans which worked well for moving the cool air inside our room. We were very comfortable sleeping with a light top sheet at night. This is an amazing price for such a clean, mold free unit with a great view!

Reverie Hill Bungalow, Kandy features accommodation within 1.1 km of the centre of Kandy, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with an oven, a microwave and a fridge. Mr Salinda was an excellent host and looked after all our needs. This was a wonderful apartment, very spacious with air con and access to a kitchen and living area. A few minutes walk from the lake, the area was very quiet and peaceful. Great price - thoroughly recommend.

Boscage Homestay, a property with a garden, is located in Kandy, 2 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, 5.7 km from Kandy railway station, as well as 6.4 km from Bogambara Stadium. Boscage Homestay was perhaps our best stay during our month in Sri Lanka. Felt much like a home away from home. Owner Sanjeewa, wife Hansi and son Oshane were amazing hosts. We shared meals and drinks over great conversation. Toured the neighborhood and met the neighbors. We even bathed in the natural spring in front of the homestay and just down the hill. Boscage (def: forest) Homestay is located in an upper middle class neighborhood in the hills surrounding Kandy. The interior of the home is like a museum of Sri Lankan crafts amd artifacts. The home is split into two floors, with the host family living on the first floor and guest rooms on the second. The two guest rooms are separated by a communal kitchen, dining and seating area. All areas of the second floor allow for sweeping views of Kandy and the surrounding hills amd mountains. The property is clean, comfortable, affordable and well situated above the bustle of town. As mentioned by other guest reviews, this is a homestay and not a guesthouse. This property would best serve guests who are interested in sharing experiences with a beautiful local family.
