The house was larger than expected, and had several rooms. The neighborhood is cozy and quiet, and I enjoyed walking around. The host was very friendly and accomodating. I'll 100% stay again if I'm in the area.

This was a fantastic place to stay, the house is in a beautiful area of Omihachiman with small winding paths and beautiful houses. It is close to shrines, and Mt Hachiman, which we hiked. We also rented bikes and cycled around the area through beautiful rice paddies. The house is bright, very well equipped with fully equipped kitchen. The owner Sun made sure we had everything we needed and even offered us a ride to the train station on our last day.

We had 10 people staying in this house. 6 adults, 4 toddlers. We were very happy with our stay. The room is pretty spacious. And the neighborhood is quiet. Very close to the local famous kid's park by car. We wish we had stayed there longer to have more time exploring locally. The bed was comfortable too.

Built in a 2-story loft style, was very spacious, with more than enough room for 4 adult travelers + luggage. The free WiFi was excellent. The full kitchen--with fridge, microwave, toaster oven, hot pot, rice cooker, coffee maker, pots, dishes, & scissors--made it easy for us to prepare meals, snacks, & hot drinks. The traditional shower/bath combo, modern toilet, and washing machine made our 5-day stay feasible. We had to learn how and remember to turn on the hot water each time before using the tub/shower. When it rained, we were able to use umbrellas stored in the foyer. The fluffy futons made sleeping in the tatami rooms extra cozy!
