The house is very spacious and has the most comfortable beds & blankets. I couldn't sleep on my back side since I had slipped & injured my tailbone a week before. But I could on this bed! The washing machine is also an actual dryer in one!

My personal thanks to the owners for being extremely kind, stocking the accommodation with food, guiding me to the local community onsen and even driving me to the station afterwards after check out. I've never been treated so warmly at an accommodation before. The accommodation is clean and has plenty of amenities. The shower and toilet are in a different building but easily reached and equally clean.

19 km from Oita Bank Dome, HAJIMARI Beppu is a recently renovated property set in Beppu and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. It was beautiful! What an amazing hotel, would recommend anyone going to Beppu to book a night here it was fantastic. The art in the rooms and the energy of the space was immaculate. We had breakfast down stairs the next morning which was delicious and very relaxing. It was a very simple check in, it is in a quieter area of Beppu which was a nice way to finish our time here.

Guesthouse RETURN is a lovely two story house located in the town of Kitsuki. It was super spacious with living, dining and bedrooms. It is next to a supermarket (コスモス), so it is very easy to get items. The owner, Mr Aso, was very friendly and showed us around the town of Kitsuki in the next morning, even though it was raining. Kitsuki is a beautiful town. Thank you very much Mr Aso for the wonderful stay.
