Featuring quiet street views, Spartivento Apartments is situated in the Sassi di Matera district of Matera, 700 metres from Matera Cathedral and 500 metres from MUSMA Museum. This apartment location was brilliant and central part of Matera storico. Very central and had amazing view over the Sassi Caveso. We felt very fortunate to have our own terrace over looking this beautiful historical town. The apartment was large, well appointed with all the amenities and facilities you required. Perfect for group bookings as each apartment had unique facilities that would assist with your needs. Our friends had a washing machine while our space was large enough to entertain ( as was the terrace). No detail was spared. Situated within 4.3 km of Palombaro Lungo and 4.7 km of Matera Cathedral in Matera, maison Frima B&B features accommodation with seating area. Daniele reached out to us well in advance with detailed instructions for self check in. This included additional information relating to visits in Matera, walk map and parking suggestions. I just followed the walk map and ended up not missing any important spots. These were not expected but did make a big difference. The property was beautiful and arranged for us. We had our own personal time and felt at home. Would strongly recommend this.

Great room or rather apartment. All newly renovated two years ago according to Per. Super clean everything, cozy place and beautiful. The bed very comfortable and the shower excellent in one word. Quick to heat and powerful. Light snacks in the fridge, water and yogurt. Coffee and cocoa. Good heat in the room which is good for this time of year. Air conditioning in addition. Everything is so beautifully finished and tidy. Great location in beautiful Venosa. Close to all major services and restaurants everywhere. Parking directly outside the room which is on the ground floor with a direct private entrance. After a month in Italy in various places, this is my best experience so far! Per is truly a super host who takes great care of his guests and makes sure that everything is as good as possible. Delicious breakfast at a nearby cafe. Highly recommend this accommodation to everyone!

Offering free WiFi and mountain views, Il Nicchio is an accommodation set in Matera, just 800 metres from MUSMA Museum and 850 metres from Matera Cathedral. The apartment is absolutely beautiful! The decor is perfect for the space. From the pottery to the tiles, from the dishes to the extra touches to make this space feel like home. There was a considerate variety of fresh fruit, small pastries and coffee available for our use. There was even milk and water in the fridge, cold and ready for use. Cozy, but not small. The view from the two front windows opened up to provide a street view on the edge of the Sassi. The exposed stone ceiling combines the age old architecture into the modern design. Truly a magical place!

Located within the Sassi di Matera district in Matera, Da Zia Lalla has air conditioning, a balcony, and inner courtyard views. First of all there were clear instructions on how to find this place, get the keys, and communication was super easy too. The apartment is better in person. When booking I was a bit worried about the size and feel of it, but the ceilings are quite high and feels a lot more open than I expected, not claustrophobic at all. It is a very comfortable place for spending a few days like I did. Bathroom was huge, especially considering this was a cave. The balcony/private area is lovely area to sit in the evenings with a bottle of wine. It really is a cool experience to be in a cave and have such an amazing view. Location was great, right in the middle of everything.

Boasting city views, La suite del centro storico provides accommodation with a balcony, around 300 metres from Palombaro Lungo. Apartment is clean and cosy, good location, just 5 minutes walk from the old town. The owner is very friendly and caring person. I recommend this apartment.
