Such a charming spot right by the water. It's a beautiful place. The host was lovely too. So welcoming and funny. He made us feel completely relaxed as he new we had traveled far.

Thank you to Annalies and Gertjan for a wonderful two month stay in their lovely cottage. My son, myself and our two dogs had an amazing stay there - everything was perfect with regards to the cottage, the helpfulness, the surroundings and the facilities. Freerke and Fimke’s place is lovely, calm and clean. The hot steam and sauna are very rewarding after a swim. All the necessities are available (kitchen components, bathroom soaps, bedsheets, towels and bathrobes, etc). Freerke is very accommodating and available for her hosts. Every detail is thought in its finest details! Localised close to restaurants and bike renting, 30 min by car from the natural reserve and the island Ameland.

The location of the appartement is fantastic. Right next to the Sneekermeer although the view from the appartement is to the other side. From the balcony you can see the boats coming by over the Houkesloot. The appartement is rather new and equipped with a good kitchen and bathroom.
