The accomodation was great, with spectacular sea views and an amazing pool area. Very homely, 3 bedroom with each room having its ensuite. The kitchen facilities very practical. The owner was there, very nice and considerate. The ground staff are friendly and helpful. The location was ok, walking distance to the public beach. but no spectacular restaurants, but you can catch a cab to any recommended restaurant.

Gosh, there is so much that I would like to say about Dean's apartment. Firstly, book it, don't hesitate, snooze, you lose! It really is like a home from home and very private and peaceful. The pool and loungers are totally accessible and hardly used which is amazing! The pool and gardens are cleaned very regularly and thoroughly and if you are lucky, on an early morning swim, you will get a pair of dragonflies zooming along with you in the beautiful pool. We enjoyed every second spent there and may I add that my daughter, husband and young baby regularly joined us for outside bbqs and general 'mind the baby' times while they snoozed! I think this is a perfect place for youngsters too as you can just chill a little in the sun or shade, it's very family friendly. Unexpected bonus, you can catch the most gorgeous sunset from the local beach, go around 5pm and join others quietly swimming or sitting as the sun sets, even my Mauritius son in law was impressed. Thank you Dean and family. Well, Dean and family, once again many many thanks for such a beautiful place to stay. Apologies for the delay writing this review as I've been quite poorly with my gallbladder since returning home, glad to be back home mind! Your hospitality shone through in every room, we loved Gerry Giraffe and the decor really suited the place and brought a taste of your family and homeland. Hopefully one day we will get to South Africa, prob when we venture to Mauritius again in few years. Take care and have a wonderful holiday and Christmas. The host was AMAZING and so friendly. Fully stocked breakfast items for all of us to enjoy for the entire length of our stay, quality items, and always easy to reach the host with any questions or needs. The views were outstanding - perfect! The security gate guards were super friendly and helpful, the access to the swimming pools and beach were easy, it was magical and sold us on Mauritius.

Wonderful host. Warm welcome. There was always someone available to contact whenever I needed help or had a question. He was very helpful and very kind. Clean room. All appliances worked perfectly. Comfortable bed. Tea, coffee, oil, sugar, soya sauce, even a bag of rice was offered and cleaning products available. Safe gated community.
