This is extremely beautiful house with lots of hand-made details. Meeting a sunrise in Erice was amazing, so I definitely recommend to stay there! But keep in mind, it is quite a cold place, there was no heating, we had plenty of blankets for the night, we stayed in the beginning of May.

Fabio was a great host and the apartment is perfectly located. Apartment is equipped with all you need incl coffee! Fabio reacted very quickly when we accidently broke the key to the apartment (sic!) and could not leave it. He was there in half a hour with a new key and smile! The swimming pool in the area is avalaible all day apart from siesta time, remember to take the cup.

The host was very available and helpful with all kind of stuff, from giving me tips on where to go and what to do, to making sure I had everything I needed. The scenery was lovely, with green hills and blue sea in the background. The apartment (il Pergolato, there are a couple of others) was cozy and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen & living room, a spacious bathroom, and a cozy bedroom. The best part was the wonderful porch, where one could stay and work. You can see the sea from that porch, too. It was very relaxing and peaceful.
