From the warmth of the welcome by host Enda to the top of the range facilities our stay in this duplex apartment was exceptional. Situated in the village of Knightstown and close to all amenities it was the perfect location to visit all the attractions, suggested by Enda, that the island, and mainland, had to offer. With uninterrupted sea views from both the sitting room and master bedroom, enhanced by the evening sun and reassuring beam of Valentia Lighthouse , by night, made this location ideal for a vacation.

Valentia Island is perhaps one of the most interesting and beautiful places in the country. As such, we were looking for a central and easily accessible place. The host was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She went the extra mile to make sure we felt at home. The facilities, including the kitchen, were clean and the heating kept us cosy. The accommodation was very private, spacious and quiet. Biscuits, tea, coffee, milk and cereal were provided and very much appreciated. The incoming storm created a power outage on the island and my host was superb and attentive to my needs!! She brought me coffee, torches, hot water, a hot water bottle and a warm breakfast.. I was treated like family.. and always with a smile and warm conversation.

We stayed 4 nights at skellig port and found the apartment roomy and comfortable. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms a real luxury. Paula was an excellent host. Very convenient location to explore the area. Easy to find
