I’ve been visiting Greece from many years, mainland and islands but Galazio Asteri I surpassed all my expectations, you feel like home and have whatever you want. Dimitri and his wife are wonderful people who make your stay at high level standards and the perfect location (by the sea) is optimum to visit all important places. Lesbos island is perfect for wise people and those who want to evoluate and learn something from life but also for relaxation due to thermal waters and Aegean Sea, from the Kalloni Salt Pans with the main attraction, the bright pink flamingos to Mandamados from where true miracles take place. Anyone who wishes something, takes the tin slippers and puts them next to the Taxiarhis icon and anoints with the holy oil. On Kareia hill one can feel an unseen power and the history of the place continues from the fall of the Byzantine Empire. You could also visit Turkey crossing the sea in 50 minutes. But there are too many placess to see. I have never seen a more complex island than Lesbos. There is a lot to say but everyone should descover by themselves. I will come back here every year :)

Great accomodation, lovely tall ceilings, comfy bed, restaurant with a great selection of Western food on the property. Host Tonya is absolutely lovely and incredibly accommodating! Bus stop is just outside property, comes every hour but can be late. Small supermarket and port just across the road!

It was 10 km from the center. It was quiet but easy to find. Parking was never a problem. The owner and his family were very helpful. The house was spotlessly clean. You can stay for a long time, the house had everything you need. It was a calm, problem-free stay for us. Thank you very much again to the owner and his family for their warm welcome and interest.
