Sinisalu Apartments is a private holiday house situated in the beautiful village of Käsmu, known among Estonians as “Captain’s Village”. It is less than 100 metres from the sea and 200 metres from Käsmu Sea Museum. It offers simple rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi.

The couple who own this home and property have to put in a lot of time to maintain it - so beautiful looking out onto the water. The apartment was perfect in appearance and very clean. Wifi worked without any problems. Water was hot and pressure was good. Rented a bike from the owner which was very convenient. Kitchen was adequately supplied with pots/pans/dishes.

There is museum and nature trails next to apartment. The house has stove heating and a boiler for hot water. There are 2 separate electric heaters. There is small glossary shop next to the house with not long working hours (on working days it works from 11:00 till 17:00). I do not know how it works at weekend.

Spotlessly clean, kitchen with everything you need for cooking. The apartment is tastefully furnished and very spacious. The bed huge and comfy. Good lighting. Bathroom with hairdryer. Quiet and peaceful surrounding. A small shop in the same building. Bicycles for rent. Ideal starting point for hiking and cycling. A very interesting private museum for rainy days just opposite. And if that isn't enough, the staff has been very kind and helpful to me. THANK YOU AGAIN!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable with an excellent bed and a well-equipped mini-kitchen, and friendly owners always ready to offer advice. Every corner of the well-tended garden offered chairs and tables for relaxation and enjoying the sea-view and abundant bird-life. There are forest and coastal paths nearby for walking and cycling. All in all Merikalda provided quality holiday accomodation in peaceful surroundings. Strongly recommended, Maija & Mike
