The location was great, it is a beautiful spot 5 mins away from La Playita Beach. Highly recommended place to stay!! The beach that is close by it's beautiful and you won't need more than that! You will need to drive to the main street where all the restaurants are, but other than that, this place is great!

We loved our stay at this wonderful place! The house is super clean and tastefully decorated, creating a relaxing and cozy vibe, surrounded by a beautiful garden. The location is great - nestled in a peaceful area yet conveniently within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and bars. Location was good for tiny Las Galeras. Must have a car or be calling a ride, tho, for anything because the restaurant is off limits. That was in the listing, so be prepared. Nice little beach nearby. Pool was cool and clean. Elin who got us set up with key, wifi, info and a leak/repair was great and communicative. Roomy place for 2 and it can sleep a few kids in beds in loft which we didn't even use. LOTS of beach towels (which we needed for a leak). Patio was large and we used it for breeze, to eat, to relax. Newer washer was a treat after 2 weeks on the road. Bed was comfortable.

The apartment was really nice and the garden was very spacious with lots of Mango Trees and blooming flowers. Gaby greeted me when I arrived and was very friendly and whenever I needed something (like a new bottle of drinking water) she responded right away. The kitchen was well supplied with lots of pots and pans, utensils. The apartment was very cozy. Colorfull curtains and comfortable furniture.

The pictures don't do this place justice. You cannot come to the Domenican Republic and not stay here. You will experience pure nature, local warmth and luxury at your feet. The host Volker is above and beyond helpful, it didnt matter if you were a solo traveler like me or coming as a couple or a family. He makes you feel welcome and above all safe and secure. I was traveling and working, with all mentioned AND good WiFi my digital nomad adventure was a success!
