The street that separates the main hotel (Art Hotel) and the apartments, has a direct bus connection to Ascona and Locarno. It was very quiet and picturesque place to walk or simply to sit at the balcony and soak in the view. Excellent location for seeing the area - very close to the pier for boat trips on the lake, and above the main road from Locarno to Italy (hence the inevitable traffic noise, but this never became a problem). Private parking straight-forward. Hosts greeted on arrival (despite our uncertain arrival time) and were always helpful. Wifi excellent; air conditioning in main room; kitchen had everything we needed.
