Section L Tsukiji provides accommodation within less than 1 km of the centre of Tokyo, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a fridge, a stovetop and kitchenware. Apart from excellent customer service, our room has decent size for a traveler of 3 and the hotel has provided us with supplies of toiletries, cleaning tools, laundry soap, room and linen spray and dish washing - no need to spend time in getting all these yourself. I also like that it has a separate toilet, a separate bath area and sink/washing area. Each of us can do things separately so getting ready was faster. One can be busy in the toilet, while one is taking a bath and the other one is brushing teeth/doing makeup.

There's even a small workspace where I had a quick meeting while my kid played. Plus, you can do laundry and cook here, which is awesome for a long trip. It's just one stop from Asakusa, a 5-10 minute walk or a quick subway ride, with the station conveniently located just a minute's walk from the hotel entrance. Surrounded by convenience stores and excellent restaurants, the location couldn't be better.

The hotel was spacious but at the same time intimate, clean, and has all the amenities we need. The beds are soft and warm. There is also an open space living room to converge and talk about about our day. The kitchen is enough to store food supplies from the convenience stores. The separation of the toilet and bath is a genius idea. It made preparations for the day efficient and easier. The hotel is also a few steps away from public transportation and tourist spots, such as the Senso-ji temple and the Tokyo Skytree. It is also near Nakamise-dori and Hoppy St for late night shopping and food trips. We didnt regret choosing Asakusa over Shibuya for our first family trip in Tokyo. It was safe, close to public transportation and tourist spots, and homely.
