Open from December 2016, Aya Niseko boasts an open-air natural hot spring bath and provides direct access to Grand Hirafu Resort’s ski lifts. Modern, exceptionally clean, facilities were excellent. Hotel is in a great location for the ski resort and surrounding restaurants. on-site Onsen is also worth a visit.

We loved the ski in/ski out aspect of it but didn't like the steep hill on the other side walking back from restaurants (can't be helped). The car service that was provided by the hotel was great. Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Everything in the rooms were exceptional including the private onsen we had in our balcony overlooking the slopes. We even utilized the onsen in our master bath. Closets were good but wish we had some sort of drawers to put clothes in. Kitchen had great appliances plus all the dishes/cups/utensils we needed. It was key to have the laundry in the room.

You will preferably have a car with you so you can get to the ski field and town for food and shopping The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Subway station is located nearby and we took a taxi back to Sapporo Station which was pretty cheap as well. Access was easy using door codes and the rooms are very comfortable. Washer/dryer and small kitchen are nice amenities. Highly recommended!!

We really liked hanging out in front of the fireplace after skiing. the ski storage & gear drying area was very convenient. the managers Neil & Fernando were very nice & helped us out, making calls in Japanese to various places we needed to contact.

Friendly staff and kitchen staff. Room cleaning. Free laundry and storage areas. It can be a bit of a hike from the Gondola etc but with the free shuttle busses running you’ll be dropped off 2 minutes away from the property.
