This accommodation lies directly opposite the Zwinger Palace and pond, near the Semper Opera and Dresden's other historic attractions. Our free upgrade was much appreciated.

Featuring free WiFi and air conditioning, Apartment Central Leipzig is situated in Leipzig, 300 metres from Zoo Leipzig. Panometer Leipzig is 3.6 km away. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The air conditioning was brilliant. The lounge area downstairs by reception was really lovely, with free tea and coffee available all day. The staff were excellent, really helpful and friendly. The location was extremely handy, just a 10 minute walk from the market place. We'd never stayed in an apartment hotel before, and really liked the concept, the best of both worlds. Your own apartment, but staff always on hand, and cleaning done twice a week.

It took a little time, about 20 minutes on foot, and the main route passes through the city center, which, in my opinion, is a big and pleasant plus. The room is very neat and pleasant. Quite spacious. We were mistakenly placed in a room smaller than we had booked, but this issue was resolved efficiently with the staff at the reception. The bathroom is also neat and comfortable. The active hood is somewhat loud, but it doesn't bother you at all when you're in the main room. The downside is that there was no (or we didn’t find, although we looked everywhere possible) tea for brewing in the room, but there was an electric kettle. Sound insulation is really good. Perhaps one of the best I have seen while traveling through different countries. Either we were just lucky and there were few neighbors or they were quiet, but in any case, in this aspect it was as comfortable as possible: no one and nothing disturbed a restful sleep. The reception staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and chatty. It was nice to chat. Those small problems or questions that arose were resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible. The location is simply gorgeous. Whichever way you go, you will be surrounded by the beauty of the center. Most attractions in the center of Dresden can be reached within 1-3 minutes on foot. There are also a huge number of cafes and restaurants around.

It is a small room with a wonderful balcony. Everything is super clean ,and the plants give a touch of love and care to the place. The location is perfect. Many cafes and restaurants nearby. After arriving on the night train and riding up into the hills on hired mountain bikes to get here, we were able to check in early which was a blessed relief! (Note - The route that Google maps gave us on our bikes went off-road, and we had to walk part of the way uphill as it was too steep to ride the mountain trail, especially with our backpacks. You can also catch a local bus to the village to get here). The apartment was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. The kids spent most of their time outside roaming up the hiking paths or riding their bikes up and down the hilly streets in the quiet village. This accommodation is on the edge of the village near the top of a hill and the view is lovely out towards the forests and mountains. We came in early spring and the trees were just starting to green up so I can see it would be even more spectacular in late spring and through summer and autumn. There were probably a dozen or so campers at all stages of life using the grounds with their tents and vans, as well as others staying in apartments, and it was peaceful with a feeling of camaraderie, no loud voices or music, just people chilling and a few kids roaming around doing kid stuff. This village and accommodation was a big contrast to Bad Schandau, which was literally crawling with cars and tourists (we were there over the Easter long weekend), and we were so glad we had not stayed in town but on this calming and chill mountainside.
