Room was very spacious. Had a range of soaps, tea, hair brush etc. in the lobby, and an area to lock your luggages as well. No staff so check-in was done through an iPad where we showed our passports to the camera. Very convenient location near the peace park and shopping street further up.

Super warm welcome by the owner, despite some language difficulties - "worst case" would have been using a translator, but even with my broken Japanese, everything was fine. The house itself is extremely pretty and SUPER clean. I got more than enough tools for a 4-nights stay, even the small bit of trash was emptied, although (I believe) I was alone for a few days. The house is more than big enough to accommodate whole groups of travellers, in which case I more than recommend this house. It can definitely feel a bit lonely sometimes, as no one else is there, but if you're out doing things, that wouldn't matter too much. Furthermore, the owner was extremely responsive to messages on Booking, which was super helpful. Other than hat: Clean room, comfy bed, working AC, hot water, kitchen with everything you'd need.
