The location and facilities are beautiful. Everything is clean and done sympathetically. The apartments were well soundproofed and air conditioning was working! The Swimming pool was lovely and great size. There are more than enough beds and seats for everyone to enjoy (didn't stop the German visitors from holding some sunbeds . . .*sigh* . . .) Sandra was amazing. There is a lovely restaurant close by and the co-op in Montaine is very well stocked and super cheap!!

Remote but excellent location in the Toscana where one can relax, also well positioned to travel to San Gimignano, crystal clear beaches at Rosignano Solvay, Siena & Florenz. All of the above are reachable with a 1 to 1.5-hour drive.

The check-in process was smooth, and the host was very friendly and helpful, offering good suggestions for local attractions and remaining accessible throughout the stay. The property is conveniently located at roughly equal distances from Florence, Pisa, and Siena, though a car is indeed necessary. Set in a tranquil, verdant village, it boasts a stunning Tuscan view from the village center of Montaione. The apartment/room was spacious, and it seems the host kindly provided an upgrade to a larger apartment, which surpassed the expectations set by the photographs. Although our travel season precluded us from using the pool, it appeared inviting.

We stayed here while hiking the Via Francigena. Super easy to find and the host was amazing. He gave us a great recommendation for dinner and also runs a small bar in the main square that I also highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay here! We stayed for 3 nights but could of stayed for months! The 3 bedroom apartment was spacious with 3 bathrooms and a comfortable lounge and large dining table. It was so quiet and the views were amazing! Thankyou to Chiara for her recommendations on where to eat and ongoing communication with us. If you get the chance to stay here please do!! You do need a car to get there. My 4 kids loved playing in the large green space and the little playground kept the younger ones entertained. The heating and hot water work really well too. Can't fault this place at all! 10 out of 10!!

A wonderful welcome as we were greeted by our host Paulo who extended his hospitality by inviting us to join their BBQ, with wonderful food and drink! In a lovely peaceful setting, a very large room with our own private garden. Lovely pool area too! You need to drive slowly down the road to approach the site but not a problem as you can take time to enjoy the gorgeous views over the Tuscan countryside! You can also purchase beverages on site, but we'll within reach of a drive to San Gimignano for dinner. Great value for money. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
