Great location - only 5 minute drive to center of town or a 20 minute walk. Lovely pool, though it was cool as we were there mid-October. Beautiful view of sea from large pool area. Communication and check in was easy. Free parking was easy and secure. Good Wifi - which was important as I needed it for work. Maria was very nice and engaging. Staff were all very friendly and kind. The property was beautifully manicured by a fellow that also helped serve breakfast. The Indonesian girl server was also very kind. Beds were good. Shower configuration in our bedroom was a little weird as you had to be careful not to splash edge of bed - suggest they extend the shower wall. The blind between living room and bedroom was also too short. Fabulous and large breakfast with greek yoghurt, honey and fruit, eggs, some days as omelette or fried, one day we had crepes and other pancakes, baked good including bread, sometime mini spanokopitas or croissants plus jam and preserves. Coffee wasn't great, so went out for coffees afterwards, which was fine. Bed linens were good as were towels. They also provided slippers and robes but no beach towels. You can rent beach towels if you wish. We loved this palce nd if we stay in Arkana again, we will definitely stay here ! Thank you MARIA and staff!

I highly recommend Golden Sun Apartments. Situated just 2km away from Arkasa, this property is located in a tranquil yet accessible location. Its proximity to Arkasa makes it incredibly convenient for enjoying aperitifs, dinners, and grocery shopping. All rooms offer stunning sea views, allowing us to savor the beautiful sunsets during the evenings we dined in. The host was exceptionally amiable and responsive to all our requests. A special shoutout to the cleaning staff for diligently maintaining the cleanliness of our apartment. They even went the extra mile of washing our dishes when we inadvertently left some behind. The apartment itself was spacious, including the wardrobes, which provided ample storage. Although we only had breakfast at the hotel once, the table service was delightful. One of our prerequisites was a swimming pool, and having one on the premises was undeniably a highlight of our vacation.

Excellent value for money. The hotel is very nice, with spacious rooms and spotless clean. The location is also great, we walked to the Agios Nikolaos beach, and to Arkassa's main square in the evening. The staff/owner was very helpful and provided us with a lot of tips of places to visit. We are definitely coming back here next time we are in Karpathos.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got the bigger room because it was available, a nice gesture. We also really enjoyed the sunset view from the balcony. There is a supermarket just across the street and the main square of the village is just a couple of minutes on foot away.

Decent hotel with a fantastic view both to the sea and the mountains behind. Good value for money. There is a small swimming pool, a car is necessary to go to a beach.
