Would also recommend Toon Poh restaurant nearby, cheap yet really delicious food and service with a smile.

Location is good, the river views are beautiful, bed is comfy, room is nicely decorated and I had my first in Laos warm shower there. Also huge thank you to the lovely lady at the reception who stored my bag for most of the day after the check out.

Sai and the other female staff were the amazing host at Meexok Guesthouse, made sure our stay in Nong Khiaw was perfect. They gave us all the info we needed and even helped us arrange a tour. The guesthouse itself was super clean (impressive for Nong Khiaw!), and surrounded by great places to eat. Heads up - there were occasional power cuts and water outages in town, but that wasn't the guesthouse's fault. Sai and the team did their best to manage it, and overall, it was a minor inconvenience. They also have free Bananas and tea/coffees all day long.

It was so peaceful & relaxing which I wanted after being up north & on the go. Would definitely return.
