This is an exception hotel. The staff are brilliant, and extremely helpful. Breakfast, great menu, nice. After travelling Asia for a bit and seeing the excessive use everywhere this hotel has a free water fill bottle system in place which is great to see. Rooms and bed comfortable pool great. I give the location 4 out of 5 as it’s a bit of a walk to town but the hotel covered this with free bike and transfer service on the evening. It’s that good here we are coming back in 4 days 😂

Big and clean room, AC working perfectly, quiet neighbourhood and located in the city center. The river is just in front of the hotel, they have laundry service and you can rent a motorbike also. The breakfast is good, try the banana pancakes ! The manager of the hotel is also really nice, he gave us good information about the things to see and do in Luang Prabang and around. I highly recommend !

Somvang khily guesthouse 宋旺吉利 酒店, a property with a garden and a terrace, is located in Luang Prabang, 200 metres from Wat Xieng Thong, 1.1 km from Night Market, as well as 1.2 km from Mount Phousy. Location is on the peninsula, but in the back, so it was quiet and far from the hustle and bustle of the night market. Huge room with a very comfortable bed. Clean room, friendly and accommodating staff!
