This family-run guest house in in Nordurfjördur village offers basic rooms in a converted barn, as well as modern self-service cottages. Krossnes Geothermal Pool is 1 km away. Tämä paikka oli ihana yllätys! Huoneet oli juuri uusittu, vastasivat hotellitasoa ja olivat todella siistit. Kullakin oli oma pieni patio. Paikassa on myös camping-mahdollisuus. Omistaja oli todella ihana ja avulias, suuri kiitos siitä! Paikka on myös riittävän syrjässä valosaasteelta, näimme illalla upeita revontulia. Matkalla sinne näimme naalin ja paluumatkalla kaksi hyljettä. Valaitakin voi vuonossa nähdä. Lähellä olisi myös uima-allas, mutta emme menneet sinne uimaan. Ilolla ja lämmöllä voi tätä paikkaa suositella.

Majoituspaikasta avautuu vuoristonäkymät. family owned. Was a old school house that has been made into a very comfortable hotel. Evening meals were so tasty and great value. 3 course for 5990 hot swimming pool and natural hot rock pool was very nice way to finish our long drive.

Hvammur 4 with private hot tub (Fagurgali) is set in Drangsnes. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The holiday home has a picnic area and a hot tub. This was one of the most beautiful stays while travelling Iceland. It is set pretty much in the middle of nature and the house was quite big for two people and nicely furnished. The hot tub with naturally hot water was also just an incredible add-on. Would absolutely go there again and also for longer.

Comfortable with plenty of room, well equipped, good WIFI (as always in Iceland), friendly hostess, nice little shop and fuel a couple of hundred metres away, easy access, and a nice area.

Located in Drangsnes and featuring in-room coffee/tea facilities and free Wi-Fi, this guesthouse offers versatile accommodation in both rooms and self-catering apartments. We had a wonderful groundfloor spacious room with own bathroom, and parking in front of the room. The breakfast buffet was also very nice!
