This was our favorite stay during our trip. The cabin had a lovely design and the kitchen was well appointed for cooking in. Everything we needed was in waking distance and a local hot spring was a very short drive, we went twice!

The system at Bjarkarholt Guesthouse is: do it yourself. So we had to make our own beds and also take off the linen and towels and stow them in a bag, when we left. It's not a big deal and you save some money. The houses have a working kitchen, fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster. Wi-fi was fine too.
