The upper floor is cozy, clean and comfortable, and the entire place is full of art, books and poetry. Breakfast was amazing! We were served eggs, ham and cheese, different vegetables, jams, chocolate, bread, porridge with wonderful toppings like berries and bananas and of course coffee and juice. Sirkka and Aki, the hosts, are kind, welcoming and warm. They go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect, and are great conversation partners.

Everything was clean and the neighborhood is quiet. The view out onto the river was very nice. The apartment is located a few hundred meters from the central street of Kajaani. Pekka Heikkinen bakery is just around the corner which has excellent breads, pastries and coffee (with free refills!).

This fabulous hotel in the center of the little town Kajaani was way beyond what I had expected. The staff was so friendly and helpful. My room was clean, very modern and the bed was extremely comfy. I really didn't want to leave. Lunch and dinner in the downstairs restaurant were outstanding. Something I would have expected to find in a big city.
