Jason was the perfect host. Welcoming and super helpful. Well decorated. Good selection for breakfast for a small hotel, with some western options available, along with good coffee. Not paper thin walls like many guests houses, so a good night's sleep was had!

Situated along the historic Tunxi Ancient Street, Huangshan Old Street Courtyard is an old house of bricks and wood, a tranquil getaway from the hustle and bustle of cities. I was delighted with my stay. The experience of a hotel is obviously different than staying at this traditional house (e.g. colder, less comfy bed etc.) but this only added to the authentic charm. The position is fantastic, as I had my balcony on the high street. Clean environment. Loved the bed warmer. Communication with the host was superb in helping out with getting around the city. Would recommend to everyone. Great breakfast too.
