Set in a 16th century castle surrounded by a lake and forest, Guest House Grad Strmol offers classic-style accommodation with free Wi-Fi. It also provides an on-site bar and 5 bikes free of charge. I believe this was our most amazing and most unique stay. Breakfast is amazing! Sunsets from the the castle balcony are also amazing. Staff is super nice, overall great experience!

Host was very friendly and always ready to help, we really appreciated his effort. Tree house was wonderful, like a cabin weekend back home in Finland except that we don't have mountains 😀 Tree house was smartly built and every square really well used. There was everything we needed and the location was really good to get those lovely mountain views. Good to know: Cabin is quite small, like it has been clearly said in the description. We were still able to fit all our stuff inside the tree house, but there is also a winter garden (indoor space) if someone needs more space for their luggage.

The house is very well equipped, you will find everything you need and more. Beautiful living room with a fireplace, comfortable beds, very clean bathrooms, large terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains, meadow and river. You can relax there, listening to the sound of the river and the singing of birds. Barbecue and fireplace available. A very dog-friendly place. Lots of space for the dog to run and walk.
