The house is amazing, the best part is the terrace with an amazing view, BBQ, and hot tub. A tranquil oasis, the house is all new appliances, spacious and clean. We were all amazed and excited to have picked such a great house. I would recommend a stay here. It is a short ride from the center and also a great location to explore Slovenia. Not to forget the host is very accommodating and quick to respond. Overall 10/10!

It is a beautifully decorated, comfortable house. Well equipped, you can find there anything you need. The kitchen was well equipped as well. There's parking right next to the door. Very clean. The owner was nice as well.

A cosy cute little cottage surrounded by fields and woods offering beautiful views of mountains and serenity. Perfectly functioning, easy-to-use equipment, simply all you need for a little get-away. Very considerate hosts who offered us an earlier check-in on a rainy day. An excellent base for our trips around Slovenia. On a lazy day just taking a stroll in the woods of Naklo and Strahinj did perfectly fine. The fenced property with a lovely orchard made it a lot easier for us travelling with a dog, who was not very happy to leave. :-) We were returning guests and I'm quite sure we'll come again.

Such a warm welcome and Peter and Marjeta do everything to make your stay comfortable. We were unlucky with the weather, but they increased the temperature for the jacuzzi and they even brought bathrobes! Wonderfull breakfast also for us vergetarians.

La cabaña es muy bonita. Está muy limpia, es muy confortable, con unas camas muy cómodas. Tiene un porche muy agradable con el río delante y una hamaca fantástica. Los niños disfrutaron muchisimo con el entorno. Nos atendieron fenomenalmente y disfrutamos de compartir un café juntos, ofreciendonos recomendaciones de visitas muy interesantes. Pedimos desayuno el primer dia y estuvo fantástico!!!

We loved everything about Riverhouse. We were met by Breda who gave us a tour of the house. The kitchen has absolutely everthying and anything you can think of including all utensils, pots, pans, glasses, plates, mugs and a very good sandwitch toaster. Breda ensured there were snacks and drinks ready for us. There was also extra oil and an huge range of spices. The bathrooms had the usual supplies but extras of anything including afershave and creams. The washing machine/dryer is very easy to use and again a stain remover proved handy and also a clothes rack for drying. The bathrooms are new and well oragnized and the bedrooms were more than adequate for five including three tall teenagers. Having said all that the true charm of the place comes from the garden which is a very large expanse including an amazing outdoor kitchen which we used all the time. The outdoor kitchen is very well supplied, very well decorated and icludes a gas barbecue which came very handy. We sat for hours outside just listening and watching the river that flows in a constant stream at the edge of the garden. After a long day hiking just to cool your feet off in the river is amazing. Anton and Breda and vey generous and forthcoming hosts. Having read reviews all of the above was as described by others. Our biggest surprise was Preddvor. The town lies at the foot of the most beautiful mountains. It is off the usual tourist list and you can do many hikes starting from River house. Use the website for Preddvor travel which details in English the numerous hikes in the area. We went up Javorov and came through St Jakobs church where a cafe serves amazing strudel. We had spent time in the Triglav national park which is stunning but it was teeming with tourists from all over Europe. On the hikes around Preddvor we encouneterd mainly locals and on the mainy road is a superb bakery. If you are looking for beauty, tranquility, and outstanding outdoor garden and kitchen the this is your stop.
