Staff in this perfectly spotted hotel, in exact city centre of Odessa will do whatever they can for you to remember your stay for the rest of your life. All the staff are extremely friendly and they do everything for you to want to come back again. I do not know if all Ukrainian people are gifted with such a warmth in their heart but all the employees at Deribas certainly are. From the moment I enter the reception and met Tatiyana i felt like a king apart i requested simple room. I am not too sure if that is standard in this hotel but i had breakfast included. It is basic choice but tasty and helthy. From all the hoteles I stayed recently in Deribas I had the tastiest breakfast which was included in the price. As I said all the staff were very friendly. I had a pleasure to deal with Sasza and Tatiyana. Sasza will help you with luggage and if anything you need in your room he is there to help. And the star of this hotel - Tatiyana she will be there to answer all your questions and help with anything you will need. Whenever i asked for a direction or help with the buses she was not only there to give you the answer but already on her phone showing you what your options are. Always with the smile. No matter if you need flowers ,finding the way to the beach or you can name it she will be there to help you and make sure you have all you need. Thank you Tanya for all your help. Hotel is in centre of the city centre at the main street Deribasovskaya. Always full of people and places to eat and drink coffee or have deserts. Literally they sell coffee everywhere. Rooms are very clean. Cleaning everyday at the highest standard. My advice make a littlebit effort and at least greT local people with simple dobre utro or spasiba balszoj. And you will see what is the meaning of True Ukrainian hospitality. Congratulation to the management for such a good hand to hire perfect, customer oriented staff.

Odessa è una città che offre ogni tipo di attrazioni; durante l'estate ospita varie mostre ed eventi culturali oltre ad avere una zona balneare veramente ricca di luoghi dedicati al divertimento per ogni età. Al lunapark c'è la ruota panoramica più grande di tutta l'Ucraina (45 m) e si può godere di una magnifica vista panoramica. Il clima in estate (metà luglio) è caldo ma ventilato, grazie alla brezza marina. I prezzi sono vantaggiosi tutto l'anno, eccetto l'affitto degli alloggi nel periodo di luglio.

Chi non conosce la scalinata di fantozziana memoria? Forse non tutti sanno che ha una importanza storica. VA VISTA ASSOLUTAMENTE!!! Io frequento Odessa da tanto e ogni volta che vado la visita è d'obbligo. Purtroppo adesso è in restauro, quindi ...solo transenne e un piccolo spazio per salire e scendere...peccato :(

FATE MOLTA ATTENZIONE!!! Odessa è una delle più belle città dell'Ucraina, che peraltro offre poco da un punto di vista turistico. Tuttavia la città è estremamente PERICOLOSA con episodi di VIOLENZA ESTREMA a danno dei turisti a scopo di RAPINA!!! A circa 50m dall'albergo, in centro, sono stato aggredito e rapinato con violenza estrema da un gruppo di persone, che mi hanno duramente colpito alla testa facendomi immediatamente perdere i sensi, derubandomi di tutto e lasciandomi sulla strada sanguinante. Ripresi i sensi, ho raggiunto l'albergo, che ha chiamato polizia e ambulanza. In una clinica privata mi hanno applicato diversi punti di sutura alla fronte e verificato che il cranio non fosse rotto. Se decidete di visitare Odessa non portate valori con voi e lasciate i vostri documenti e contanti in albergo, tranne quelli strettamente necessari. Vi serviranno per pagare le cure mediche in caso di aggressione. Una chicca finale: in ospedale sono stato sottoposto a prelievo di sangue per verificare il tasso di alcool, nonostante fossi la vittima dell'aggressione, fossi a piedi e avessi dichiarato di aver bevuto solo succo d'ananas. Questa è la procedura, mi è stato risposto.

E' sicuramente una città da visitare, per i suoi palazzi...
E' sicuramente una città da visitare, per i suoi palazzi e il porto, per la cortesia della gente, nonchè per la spiaggia, che non ho potuto verificare bene, essendo arrivato nel mese di marzo. Però, almeno è più sicura rispetto a Kiev, dove sono stato vittima di due tentativi di aggressione in metropolitana da gruppi di uomini, forse ex-carcerati, che giravano apposta per rubare e creare confusione....! Fortunatamente conoscevo un'amica gentilissima a Odessa, che mi ha accompagnato a visitare diversi posti e ristoranti, e anche il Museo della guerra, dove si trovano raccolti, in un grande parco, alcune macchine da guerra, come carri armati, lanciamissili, lanciarazzi, mine dentro il mare, e persino un sommergibile!! Penso che quest'ultimo posto non è per niente illustrato nelle guide turistiche!! Non ho potuto visitare Potyomkin Stairs, perchè in ristrutturazione.

Odessa è sempre una bellissima scoperta! Il suo stile è favoloso, peccato solo per la manutenzione che non fanno, per cui ti trovi a dover vedere palazzi che cadono a pezzi. Si mangia benissimo ovunque, ma mi sento di consigliare: 2K, Kumanets, Forty Five, Klarabara. Gli spostamenti li ho fatti sempre tramite taxi, visto il costo irrisorio per noi Europei. In ogni caso i tassisti non sono per niente professionali e non hanno idea di cosa sia il codice della strada. In generale anche le persone che lavorano in bar e ristoranti non sono professionisti e non sanno come relazionarsi con i clienti (se poi non lasci la mancia neanche ti salutano).

Odessa, nice place where you can find what you need and what you what. For sure more interesting to visit in the summer period, winter and spring is too much windy as a sea place normally is. Interesting cafe, monuments, shops and restaurants. Good seashore but not so international, close to Ukranian life style. On the sea several restaurants and cafes without waiters english speaking.

Odessa una città da visitare, ottimo cibo, bei locali, ottime atttrazzioni e sopratutto prezzi contenuti, il mare e quasi sempre affollato ma si può tranquillamente prendere un bel gazebo privato a prezzi davvero irrisori, se a vuole un spiaggia più tranquilla basta uscire appena fuori odessa e troverete spiaggie grandi e semi vuote, città ben servita da mezzi pubblici e taxi bus, comodi ed economici, ma si può tranquillamente andare a piedi dal centro al mare con una bella passeggiata lungo la Deribasovskaya,

Odessa ha un centro carino. Ma usciti dal centro la citta' diventa orribile. Attenti ai ristoranti fuori dal centro che applicano sovrapprezzo ai turisti. Attenti alle dolci donzelle che vi fanno spendere al ristorante e prendono la percentuale. Tenete sempre presente che qui la gente vive alla giornata e con 150 euro al mese.

Hotel nuovo con camere spaziose, pulite, molto eleganti e confortevoli. Un plauso particolare a Receptionist a Staff sempre sorridente e pronto ad accogliere e soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta. Bravissimi!! Abbiamo trovato la posizione molto comoda per visitare le meraviglie di Odessa, è a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro mentre è un po' distante dalle spiagge ma in compenso si può prendere facilmente un taxi che oltretutto è molto economico. Per noi è stato un soggiorno meraviglioso!!

Great place located right at entrance of Sovignon. Although the staff didn't speak any English they were always available and supportive. The room was tiny but warm and absolutely comfortable and perfectly clean with a lovely welcome amenities kit including two large bottles of water. The Bathroom was perfectly clean and the shower with plenty of hot water. Since it was a business trip, I appreciated a lot the perfectly working Wi-fi connection throughout my stay.

Very enjoyable stay! I stayed here on my way into Ukraine and on my way out. The staff are awesome! Very accommodating!!! They speak good English and the staff that don’t are eager to use Google translate to communicate. They were very valuable to me helping me book my bus ticket and arranging a taxi! Awesome place! Awesome staff!
