Featuring an on-site restaurant and a bar, Monopoly Hotel is set in Otopeni, 10 km from Therme Bucharest. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a shared lounge. My gf and I like to travel to Bucharest for 2 or 3 days to go to Therme a few times a year. Normally we stay at the Hilton, because it's conveniently located (right outside the airport). Monopoly is a hidden gem on the outskirts of Otopeni in a quiet neighbourhood under construction. It's approximately 5km away from the airport (a mere 20 lei/4.5 dollars/4 Euro with a taxi). It's quiet, clean; the staff are lovely, decent breakfast. Our double bedroom was massive and even had a balcony. The best part about this is that the price is literally 40% of a similar stay at Hilton, but the comfort, room size and cleanliness are pretty much similar. An extra bonus goes to the staff who were lovely enough to accommodate our late arrival. Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Just 1 km from Henri Coandă International Airport Otopeni and right next to the Waterpark Bucharest, Hotel Otopeni offers a restaurant, free airport transfers, free guarded parking and free WiFi in... We stayed here for the second time. Everything is great! The staff are so friendly, the location is lovely and the hotel itself is clean and well decorated!
