Luana, Sabrina, and the rest of the staff were so welcoming, kind, and so helpful with recommendations and assistance! There is a lovely little beach below the hotel and walking distance to Saint Angelo as well as the bus to take you anywhere on the island! We can’t wait to return for a longer stay!

Faculties we’re clean and well maintained. The flowers and different types of cactus, succulents and plants were unique and of varieties I’ve not seen before. I have never seen palm trees as thick as these. Just a beautiful setting.

Always wanted to stay within a castle / fortress and this met my expectations.......and even had an elevator which went a long way with dealing with the luggage. Quite possibly the most relaxing and best night sleep I've had while traveling as I could leave the window open all night with the moist sea breeze vs stuff AC air and with the castle so far away from the town - very little noise. And because it was a small boutique hotel - filled with a more mature crowd that respected everyone else with minimal noise, slamming of doors and the typical loud voices in the hall at night ....but not here which was amaing. Free pass to the island to see the castle along with the crypts and a beautiful art studio with some really special pieces to take home.

The staff's warm hospitality and professionalism truly stood out, making me feel valued and cared for throughout my stay. Christian truly went above and beyond for us in every aspect and was genuinely one of the nicest hosts we’ve ever encountered. I would come back here in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone who cares to venture to Ischia. Christian helped us plan our day every morning and was so positive about everything. Our room also had incredible views from the balcony which were incredible to see each day. In summary, Hotel Casa Sofia is a haven of tranquility, offering a remarkable escape. I highly recommend this place for an unforgettable getaway. Pros: Elegant and comfortable accommodations Exceptional hospitality from the staff Tasty breakfast Exceptional views Christian going above and beyond for his guests Cons: None! Ischia is already a dream, but this hotel is perfectly located near some the most fabulous beaches, but offers an expanse of grassy lounge areas, pools and jacuzzi all filled with thermal mineral water. Even in high season it always feels spacious and private, and the staff is fabulous!!! You’d think i could complain about something, but for the price, everything including the food was outstanding. Breakfast and ferry transport included, and we were invited to stay all day after check out and use pool and facilities for hours. Highly recommend Ischia and even more so this place

Great location - walking distance of the port, bus station, restaurants, supermarket and shops - the area was quiet and I felt safe. Breakfast was very good with different cakes each day. Lunches and dinners can also be booked at the hotel restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful and can arrange tours. The room was very clean and spacious. Unfortunately I did not have time to make use of the extensive spa facilities that are available.

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel! My wife and I felt very relaxed and happy with our stay. Very welcoming reception staff. The half board was worth every penny with amazing & delicious dinner every night. The pools were beautiful and well maintained with sea water (jets, water bike) & the beach although small very enjoyable. The indoor SPA with 3 thermal pools and steam sauna was excellent. The room are very tastefully furnished, the bed was comfortable, the lighting very good. In the bathroom we found, in addition to the usual bath towels, beach towels, flip-flops and bathrobes. The hotel is full of aesthetics and romantic. The hotel is about a 15 min. drive to Forio, 10 mi. to Negombo Thermal Park and 20 min. to Giardini Poseidon Thermal Park.
