O Tortugal Boutique River Lodge está situado no Rio Dulce, perto de um castelo do século XVI, e proporciona um local fresco e refrescante graças à brisa quase constante na costa. everything about it ! the rooms are lovely , the location is perfect and the activities (kayaking, swimming around the property, taking a boat to the river, walking in the woods) in the property were fun! the food was excellent throughly the day including breakfast. lunch and dinner and the drinks are delicious. the staff and especially Angela and Ruby, were just so lovely and are So welcoming and professional. they helped us with everything. from the minute we arrived until we left, even with taking a bus back to Antigua and arranged the driver, taking a boat day trip and just made everything feel so nice. Angela is an exceptional caring person and made us feel so good during the entire stay. thank you Angela for making our stay so special.

El Hotelito Perdido is a little jungle hideaway located in a middle of Rio Dulce National Park. Everything 😊 It’s a little gem of a place in a paradise setting! Food is wonderful and you won’t go hungry that’s for sure. There’s plenty to do and it’s very affordable. The team (staff and owners) is super sweet and always there to help make your stay happy and easy. Thank you for such an amazing stay!!!

Hotel Posada Stella Maris situa-se em Puerto Barrios e dispõe de acomodações de 5 estrelas com um jardim e um salão partilhado. There is big enough and clean room with nice moutain views balcony. Also there is shared kitchen can be used. Very warm and helpful host. It is located Santo Tomas de castile, easy to take a taxi ( 30 GTQ ) or chicken bus( 3GTQ) from puerto Barrios center. Recommend to take couple days to chill out. There is walkable to beach and waterfall. The accommodation fee all goes to charity.

Reserva Natural Cañón Seacacar situa-se em Izabal, a 45 km de Castelo de San Felipe de Lara, e dispõe de acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um terraço e um restaurante. Perfect place hidden in a small village. It’s the only accommodation in the village and has been build to help the local community. The first language in the village is Q’eqchi, the children are now learning Spanish in school from about age 5. The staff of the hotel is from the village and for them it is a place to learn and work in tourism. They are all very friendly and helpful. If you want to have a great Guatemalan experience in one of the most beautiful places of Guatemala, where the crowds don’t go (yet), this is where you want to go! I reached the hotel by a two hour trail that is insanely beautiful, constructed by the people of the village, easy to follow and a good climb to two wooden miradors with lake and jungle views. Always with the sound of absolutely fantastic river ‘sauce’ on the background. The next day I went down on a tube and they carried my bag down. The tubing in the river is what will drop your yaws!! Absolutely beautiful, a cañón with high Walls on both sides. Everything is well organized and clean. It absolutely worth a visit! I’m writing this review because I could not believe that I was the only tourist there (on a Saturday)! You will not regret your visit and you will probably (hopefully) write a similar review to help this village and the people creating a better future for there town. There are several projects ongoing, including deforestation! Go and enjoy jungle, river and peace while enjoying great food and comfortable accommodation(affordable too!)

Livingston Resort Hotel tem um jardim, terraço, um restaurante e bar em Lívingston. Huge suite with 2 balconies. The kids were very happy to have their own seperate bedrooms! Beautiful and clean pool.

Hotel Kangaroo y Restaurante tem um jardim, salão partilhado, um restaurante e bar em Rio Dulce. O alojamento apresenta serviço de quartos, um serviço de concierge e câmbio de moeda. No meio da natureza, a 5 min em lancha de Rio Dulce. Há horários fixos grátis pra recolher e levar passageiros. Cheguei a Rio Dulce após o horário de saída da última lancha e me recolheram sem custos, porque havia um casal. O hotel é limpo e organizado, a decoração é linda! A dona e os funcionários são super simpáticos e atenciosos :) O cão da propriedade, Rex, é amoroso. A comida do restaurante é deliciosa e a um preço justo. Há um chuveiro com água quente. Foi possível deixar aqui a minha mochila grande, sem custos adicionais, enquanto passei uns dias em Livingston :) Sem dúvida que recomendo este lugar e voltaria outra vez! Gracias por todo, chicos :)

Banana Palms Hotel situa-se em Rio Dulce, a 13 minutos a pé de Castelo de San Felipe de Lara, e dispõe de acomodações com uma piscina exterior, estacionamento privado gratuito, um jardim e um salão... Staff muito simpático, comida boa, vista lindíssima, cama confortável. Recomendo imenso! Fizemos um passeio até linvingston com partida do cais do hotel.
