Full breakfast upgrade as well as the steak dinner and roast beef dinner were very well prepared by Curt. All can be recommended. Also great thnks to Tony Wood of Well Fed a few doors along who took care of the breakfast while Susie, Curt, their kid Rosie an Lowie and the dog Hugo started their holidays. A great place to stay if you want to discover the Borders. To be fully recommended.

The staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel like you belong there.

Around 25 miles from central Edinburgh, Black Bull enjoys a prominent location in the pretty Scottish Borders town of Lauder. The room was lovely, with a nice bath in the bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend.
