Avoid, head the other side just after port Olympic.
Avoid, head the other side just after port Olympic. Mostly local people, really friendly, nice bars, half price and way less “hypsters, great beachvolley, easy contact, friendly local people, you can leave your clothes an sunscreens or sunglasses.. whereas in Barcelonetta : wellyou will be just another tourist.ChristineLuxembourg - 10Scored 10

Consider renting a locker as the beach is fairly high traffic. There are small convenience stores across the street if you need tanning lotion. You may also find it much cheaper to buy your own beer and drinks there. Vendors will stroll buy offering mojitos, massages, and towels. Haggle with them! If you don't like the offer, find another vendor. Most require cash. Be warned, many pretend not to carry change and will instead offer you a "deal" to make up the difference with more drinks. Don't settle for a towel for more than 15 euros, possibly less if you have the patience.JohnUnited States of America - 10Scored 10
Great beach. Sometimes over crowded.
Great beach. Sometimes over crowded. Annoying massage ladies and men trying to sell anything. Never pay the price for what they are asking for. The big beach sheets they try to sell for 15€. Real price is 3€. Bargan down to 8€. Never buy their mojitos. Esp for 5€. They are worth 1€. No need to be afraid. Its not as bad as I'm writing but just these things can happen. Just enjoy the beach and watch your stuff. 👍🙂SouadSwitzerland

When I arrived the room was ready which was a great bonus for me as I was staying only for one night. Location was perfect for where I was attending an art exhibition down the road. The hotel is also a 6 mins walk from Paral-lel metro station so super easy for connecting you to other areas of the city. About 20 mins walk to Barceloneta beach.
