Gorgeous location, staff all very friendly. Would def come back and stay for more than one night. The breakfast was the best breakfast that we’ve had in a veryyyyy long time. The chef and the guy who serviced us this morning were absolutely brilliant, very knowledgeable we could have sat and spoke to him all day. Highly recommend.

It was a very spacious clean room with little luxury items like fantastic tray with lovely biscuits, good tea coffee and sugar. With a cafetiere which was a nice touch. Slow closing toilet nice shampoos ect. Outdoor space for sitting having your coffee or a drink from the bar if weather is good. Staff were wonderful especially Donna who couldn't be more helpful. The breakfast was superb eggs Benedict delicious. Can't fault the place.

There's a lot to like! The room is very nearly perfect in size, comfort, amenities, and function. The space was very comfortable and easily large enough for two people and their luggage. The shower/toilette was super functional and very comfortable with special attention paid to the available soaps and bath robes. The coffee/tea included multiple options, crisps, cookies, and shortbreads. Additionally, the pub and available foods were perfect for an historic English pub experience.

A fantastic building with large rooms, plenty of space and very comfortable. Dave was extremely friendly and helpful, even helped us out with ordering taxis and a take away in the evening :) great fun to chat to!
