I almost don't want to reveal too much because this place is such a gem. Gorgeous quiet surroundings, away from tourists, and lots of history. I liked that it was small, felt private, and excellent service.

The accommodation and its location gives you a taste of local neighborhoods and lifestyles, away from all the buzz and fuss that Bangkok brings. The hospitality of Siamotif is exceptional. We enjoyed the included breakfast every day and meals in the evening are possible too. Don't miss the food. Our room had balconies overlooking the canal which were great for a read and relax but you can also sit in the communal area. The neighborhood is very Thai, very friendly and has an MRT station very close by. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend a stay here.

The hotel is intimate and gorgeous. A place that transports you away from the city, while also being conveniently located. Loved how close the metro was. Breakfast is a multicourse delight and the family who operates the hotel are kind, funny and helpful. We stayed in the flowery room and the hand painting inside was stunning. We stayed in the Motif room for 3 nights. It was lovely. At first I was nervous about the noise from the boats on the river but it was fine at night. Comfortable beds, nice linens, neutral smells (I don’t like scented laundry items), super nice staff. The breakfast is served to you vs having a buffet so you don’t pick what you get. It was good but just wanted to note that.

Yakie and her staff were absolutely perfect. Very respectful of our space. They were extremely attentive but so quiet as they would place fans near you when it was hot without you even knowing they did. Food was way beyond expectations! The tram system nearby was easy to navigate and of course you could use Grab, Taxis or tuktuks. A very enjoyable experience!!

Beautiful, authentic boutique hotel right on a canal in a quiet neighborhood. The hospitality and kindness of the staff is unparalleled and service was up there with any 5-star hotel. We were even invited to celebrate the Loi Krathong festival at a local temple, which was a wonderful experience that really made us feel a part of (as opposed to just heading to the river somewhere and watching as outsiders). They helped us with everything from airport transfers to figuring out when to leave if taking mass transit somewhere. Breakfast was delicious. Our rooms always had water and clean towels. They even spotted us for tuk tuk fare one night when the driver told us he didn’t have change for a 1,000 Baht note.

We loved our stay at Siamotif hotel. An idyllic space to relax while watching daily life on one of Bangkok's canals. The staff was uniquely kind and helpful. Our room, charcoal, one of the best hotel rooms we have ever stayed in, with very comfortable beds. We had dinner at the hotel as well, and it was freshly prepared and very tasty. The breakfast was varied, delicious and plentiful. Everything was perfect during our stay, and it was the best way for us to end our vacation in Thailand. We hope one day to be able to return and enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the place.
