There are several historical sights nearby, such as the Dvor iron works, Plavž, Žužemberk Castle, the Devil's Turn in Soteska, Dolenjske Toplice, the ski resort and adrenaline park Gače in Črmošnice, Kočevski Rog, the source of the Krka River.
