El Explorer Backpackers está situado en Johannesburgo, a 7 km del centro comercial Sandton City, y ofrece alojamiento con bar, estacionamiento privado, salón compartido y jardín. the hostel as well as the Dorm were very clean. It is a safe area and many restaurants/coffee places are within walking distance. Super friendly staff. I enjoyed my stay a lot.

El Authentic African Bicycle Tours and Back Packers está situado en Soweto, a 2 km del estadio de Orlando. El alojamiento tiene un jardín con techo de paja y zona de parrilla. Traveling for the first time into this part of "historical" South Africa and after hearing about the negative stuff, I wasn't sure how it will be, but "Lungi" made it a "smooth" ride. He knows many people around and will help you out in getting rid of the negative perceptions/stereotypes you have about this place. He can also spontaneously organize tours and guide you in showing different places around Jo'burg/Soweto. After staying here, I can say that staying here was better than in staying in Jo'burg. The room & the toilets are clean...and no mosquitoes (at least inside the room). So, it was a learning & a great stay! :)

Everything was perfect. Very good accomodation in Soweto, very nice staff, typical "hostel" atmosphere, nice dinner/breakfast, and amazing 4-hour bike tour of Soweto with Siya. Thanks!!!

El 1322 Backpackers International se encuentra en Pretoria, a 3,3 km de la Universidad de Pretoria, y ofrece alojamiento con pileta al aire libre, estacionamiento privado gratuito, bar y salón... The staff was friendly and extremely attentive. I was happy to receive a room upgrade when I arrived. The location was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It was great hanging out by the pool chatting with the other guest. I would certainly return and highly recommend this establishment.

El Stay Inn Lodge Randfontein ofrece alojamiento en Randfontein. Las habitaciones del hostel están equipadas con TV. Everything was fine the room was clean too.

El Melville House se encuentra en Johannesburgo, a 6 km del estadio de Johannesburgo, y ofrece alojamiento con pileta exterior de temporada, estacionamiento privado gratuito, salón compartido y... I stayed 7 days at the Melville House and felt like its a hostel that really understands community and sharing. Staff was great, talkative and helpful. Other guests staying there were mingling and cool. I met local students looking for long term accomodation, long term travellers stopping by in Johannesburg and I myself was on workation - which was great in my private room that had an amazing comfortable bed and i had my own bathroom. The shared spaces were a place to meet the others and the surrounding is relatively save for Joburg standards so that I could even go for walks and jogg in the morning. Loved it!

El Rosebank Hostel se ubica en el distrito Rosebank de Johannesburgo, a 1 km del centro comercial Rosebank Mall y a 1,7 km del centro comercial Hyde Park Corner. Honestly, I don't understand the reviews here. I was expecting something horrible, but it's actually a nice hostel. I liked this: Room: clean, good bed Staff: everyone friendly Location: Fantastic, in a safe area (Rosebank), near Gautrain station (easy connection to Sandton, Airport, Pretoria, and so on). Less than 5 minutes walk to 24/7 grocery store. Near is a coffee shop and in a walkable distance is Rosebank mall (restaurants, shops). Shower: clean, hot water Laundry service: cheap, fast.
