Hostal Barrio Vivo ligger bekvämt beläget i centrala Mérida och har luftkonditionerade rum, en utomhuspool, gratis WiFi och en trädgård. Utöver ett gemensamt kök har detta boende även en grill. Iam usually to lazy to write reviews but Barrio Vivo really deserves one. They did put so much attention for detail, energy and passion in this Hostel that I was impressed. Especially as a solotraveller you feel well placed. They have amazing people like Maru and Maude who will make you feel at home, a whatsapp group to connect the guests and there is a lot of activities organized so you never get bored. The kitchen is well equipped and the common area is a great spot to meet new people. I will always come back if i come to the wonderful city of Merida.

Hostel Casa Xtakay ligger i Valladolid, 45 km från Chichén Itzá, och har en trädgård, rökfria rum samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Utöver ett gemensamt kök har detta boende även en solterrass. We had an amazing time in the hostel. Luís and his family were very welcoming. It was easy to communicate with them before the arrival and helped with any questions we had. They even let us check in much earlier without being charged with any extra fees. The room itself was wonderful, always very clean, spacious, with beautiful French windows and a very cozy balcony. The common areas had great vibes and atmosphere, as well. Luís’ wife made amazing, traditional breakfasts and there was tea, coffee and water available for free throughout the day. Luís and his son, Jonathan gave us great tips when it came to programmes, restaurants and food. They even gave us coupons which we could us at the cenotes for free drinks and lockers. The bicycle rental was very affordable and handy, and we received all the help to find the safest and shortest routes for our destinations. We felt very welcomed the whole time and had the impression that we are part of the family. We fell in love with Valladolid, we felt like we could have stayed more and would 100% come back to the hostel!

Offering an outdoor pool, Hostal La Ermita is located in Mérida. Free WiFi access is available. A shared lounge and games room is available on site. The shared bathroom comes with a shower. It has a really good price for what they offer. The location is not in the city centre but you can definitely walk to the centre. There are some small shops and a supermarket close. There's a pool which was essential for the warm weather. And the guests and staff were very friendly.

Hostal Tunich Naj ligger centralt i Valladolid. Här erbjuds enkelt boende och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Alla sovsalar har en balkong. Alla rum har klinkergolv och fläkt. Spacious, clean, well set up with more than 1 cooking station which is fortunate as people were coming and going the entire 9 days I was there. Popular place as it should be. Friendly staff that speaks English. Would stay again.

Hostel Candelaria ligger i centrala Valladolid, 5 minuters promenad från det stora torget och 500 meter från motorvägen 180 Cancún-Valladolid. Här finns en terrass och gratis parkering. Such a lovely hostel, super friendly and helpful staff, activities available every day if you want (we loved the cooking class!) and great freshly cooked breakfasts served in the sweet garden. Our private room was simple but cute, with nice art, and was just perfect for us. The hostel is in a great location in town, on a tranquil little square, a super quiet spot but still walkable to the main parts of town in 5 mins.

The staff were the best, special shout-out to Antonio who gave me all the best advice. The laundry service was an amazing bonus and very well priced. The breakfast was great, the pool and the rooftop were amazing additions. It was very close to the ADO and city centre and it was very easy to take the collectivo to chichen itza and cenotes. The events organized were also very great and social.

The hotel is at a great location, a few minutes walking from the bus/collectivo stations, restaurants, and relevant sites in town. Xavier at the hotel desk was super nice and helpful, answered all my questions and directed me to great spots for food, transportation, and everything else. My room was small and basic, but clean and cosy, exactly what I needed. Definitely great value for money, and I highly recommend.
