You can meet a lot of interesting and friendly people here. It’s a place that makes u feel at home. I mean, when you come back from a whole day’s walk, you can just say tadaima aloud and get responded with a sweet okaeri:) Except for that, the facilities are brilliant, the environment is tidy and clean… So a 100% recommendation for whoever is planning on a trip to Tokyo.

Featuring a terrace, bar and views of river, Hostel Chapter Two Tokyo is located in Tokyo, 100 metres from Asakusa Station. Did exactly what I wanted it too. A place to sleep with great vibes.

Conveniently situated in the Chiyoda district of Tokyo, Backpacker's Mini House is located 300 metres from Bellesalle Kanda, 600 metres from Nikkei Hall and 700 metres from Tokiwa Park. This little hostel is located quite centrally: Tokyo Imperial Palace is short walking distance away. The common room was great for meeting other travelers and Japanese guests. The host Jiji was one of the most polite and hospitable persons I've met. He was helpful and gave good recommendations. His wife also introduced me and two other guests to a tea ceremony!

Set in the Nakano district, GrapeHouse Koenji offers female-only accommodation with free WiFi. Yokohama is 30 km from GrapeHouse Koenji, while Chiba is 44 km away. It's very cozy and both staff and other occupants were very nice. Everything was meticulously clean from the shower to the sleeping area. Incredible value for the generous pricing in my opinion. I'm just sad that I was only able to stay one night due to my schedule.

The cosy Tokyo Hikari Guesthouse offers private rooms and dorm beds, only a 1-minute walk from Kuramae Subway Station. I loved my stay at Hikari Guest House! Isa and his family are incredible hosts and you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The facilities are clean and nicely decorated and I found the other guests to be very kind and open minded!

Located just a 5-minute train ride from Haneda Airport, 328 Hostel & Lounge offers cosy accommodation fitted with free WiFi and a shared kitchen. Anamori Inari Train Station is a 5-minute walk away. The owner was really nice and helpful. I arrived quite late and she welcomed me warmly, it was also very nice to have someone speaking english.

Conveniently situated in the centre of Tokyo, Akasaka Guesthouse HIVE provides air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge and free WiFi. Lovely and friendly staff, really close to shops/bars/restaurants/transport

Set within 600 metres of Tokaku-ji Temple and 500 metres of Ryukoku-ji Temple, 上野之家分館家庭房 offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tokyo. I like the staff the best. Extremely long and helpful.

Located in Niijimamura, 700 metres from Honson-Maehama Beach, Hostel NABLA provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Very friendly staff, nice location and perfect hostel

Tokyo8home Hachioji is a completely non-smoking property set in Hachioji, only 600 metres from Hachioji Station. Host were very kind for me to check in. Guide about the area. They have Much hospitality.
