Set in Matsuzaki, 20 km from Koibito Misaki Cape, ゲストハウス大安吉田 offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Ryota and his family have created a beautiful and comfortable hostel in a 140 year old traditional Japanese home. It felt very special to stay there, especially with such a friendly and interesting host. We were very lucky to stay at the same time as some other lovely people and we had great chats. Highly recommend!

Just a short walk (less than 5 minutes) takes you to the beautiful Nabetahama Beach and many nearby attractions. The sunrise views from the room are absolutely gorgeous. For those who want to explore the area, the guesthouse offers free bicycles to borrow. There's also a fully-equipped kitchen you can use for free if you'd like to cook, and even a BBQ area for outdoor grilling. The bathroom, while a little dated, is clean and comfortable. The host, Yuki, is incredibly helpful and generous with his time and advice. He even assisted me with a luggage delivery service. His excellent English makes communication a breeze. True to its name, this guesthouse truly offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Backpackers Hostel TSUBAMENOYADO er staðsett í Shizuoka, 47 km frá Shuzen-ji-hofinu og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlegri setustofu og verönd. It's my favourite hostel in Japan so far! It is small but cozy. The Japanese futons are nice. The kitchen has everything that you could need. The sleeping cabins are very big! Kosei, the host is friendly and helpful. Staying here feels more like living with your friends rather than staying in a hostel with strangers. A convenience store is right behind it and the train station and the supermarket are just 10 min by foot. I would definitely come back!

Situated in Fuji, 43 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, GUESTHOUSE富士と碧 features air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge.... Incredible place. Probably the most comfortable dorm set up I have ever seen. Wish all hostels could copy their formula. Great common area. Tons of room to move around. Everything perfect. Would return again for sure 10/10

Located in Numazu and with Senbon Beach reachable within 600 metres, 沼津ライダーハウスしんちゃん provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. Beautifully renovated Japanese traditional house. Great location for Nomazu city sightseeing and very friendly staff. Good for value too! 😊

Kinoya Hostel er staðsett í Fuji, 41 km frá Shuzen-ji-hofinu og býður upp á gistirými með garði, einkabílastæði, sameiginlegri setustofu og verönd. Traditional looking Hostel close to the JR station, but also offers car parking (and plenty of parking nearby too!). Looks clean and new. The staff are lovely. The rooms are comfortable. The bathrooms and baths are clean and lovely. You use a booking system… do it is private or family use.

Atelier & Hostel Nagaisa-Ura er staðsett í Atami, 400 metra frá Atami Sun-ströndinni og 27 km frá Hakone-Yumoto-stöðinni. Perfect location at the Harbour and seaside of Atami, including the beach. Wonderful all day, especially early in the morning and at sunset. Great restaurants and Atami Ginza as well as an amusement area close to the river all within a few minutes walking. The Japanese style room was minimalist but very nice and generous. The host was really charming and I would have stayed two weeks longer there but had to return to Germany.

Cabin House Yado Fujinomiya er staðsett í Fujinomiya, 14 km frá Tanuki-vatni og 23 km frá Fuji Omuro Asama-helgiskríninu. Ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði á staðnum. Herbergin eru með flatskjá. Everything is so good. The cleanliness, location, comfortable environment are very excellent with a reasonable price.

Bnb+Atami Resort er staðsett í Atami, 27 km frá Hakone-Yumoto-stöðinni og býður upp á sjávarútsýni. My stay at bnb+ Atami resort was fantastic. Despite arriving late, I was greeted by the employee Taka at the door, who kindly checked me in and gave me a free upgrade without me even requesting it. I also accidentally left one of my belongings at the hostel, and Taka kindly mailed it back to me the next day. I'd like to give a special thanks to Taka for ensuring my stay as fantastic and returning my belongings to me!
