Just a 10-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station, Hostel Cuore Kurashiki is located in a historic Bikan district in Kurashiki. Each guest room features unique design and stylish interior. Location was superb. As far as hostels go, Hostel Cuore Kurashiki is a cut above the rest. It has a bar, a very good restaurant and a cosy social area. The staff were uniformly excellent.

Nastanitev Machicado se nahaja v mestu Tamano in ponuja vrt, skupni prostor za druženje ter bar, na voljo pa je tudi brezplačen WiFi v celotni nastanitvi. An extremely comfortable, homely experience. The check-in was in a café nearby, and I was guided to the location and kindly shown around there. Despite arriving late at night and being a bit late for the regular check-in time, I was not charged extra. There were a lot of books in the common areas, which added to the cosy feeling. There was one shared shower, and a time-slot system to ensure everyone could take a shower. The bed in the capsule was made as a Futon, and the entire building felt very traditionally Japanese (including a Genkan to take off the shoes at the entrance). In the common room, you could find timetables for trains and ferries and recommendations for nearby restaurants. Not too far from the train station.

Nastanitev DENIM HOSTEL float se nahaja v mestu Kurashiki, 16 km od znamenitosti Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park, in ponuja sobe s klimatsko napravo ter z brezplačnim WiFi. The view is amazing. Staff is very caring, restaurant is nice. Bathroom and makeup room are great! I recommend the tent (Kumo)

Only 500 metres from JR Okayama Station’s west exit, Kamp Houkan-cho Backpacker's Inn & Lounge’s features a café with a live stage for DJs and other artists. Cooking tools and kitchen availavle. Reasonable and comfortable bed/room.

Located an 8-minute walk from JR Uno Station, Kikusui Ryokan is a 50-year old traditional Japanese hostel. It is decorated with unique art works designed by artists. Ryokan was amazing. Great location, central to everything. Building and rooms were authentic, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All the extra touches like the robes and artwork were very thoughtful. Favourite Japan stay on our trip. Would highly recommend.

Nastanitev 北房まちの駅 AZAE ドリトミー azae je v mestu Maniwa, 22 km od znamenitosti Shoka Museum Ikegamitei in 23 km od znamenitosti Bukeyashiki Kyu Oriike Kyu Haibarake, ter nudi vrt, brezplačen WiFi v... I think it must be a very nice place in summer, but I was there on a snowing day and it was very cold inside the building. Going out for the toilet or to the shower room was a bit painful for me! But the bedroom was warm and the futon very comfortable. The owner was nice and helpful.

HIBARI HOUSE is located a 10-minute drive from Okayama Station, from where guests can reach Hiroshima Station in 40 minutes by train and Shin-Osaka Station in 50 minutes.
